Velora Luxe Retreat is a desert villa conceived for Aurelia Private Residences as a sanctuary of shade, stone, and soft architectural drama. Expansive lounges, private suites, and courtyard transitions are arranged around natural light, giving the home a resort-like rhythm without losing residential intimacy. Concept
The concept was to translate desert quiet into interiors that feel cool, sculptural, and sensorial. Every room was planned as a sequence of filtered light, tactile walls, and low-profile furniture that encourages stillness after the intensity of the city.
Approach
We used curved volumes, deep reveals, and framed apertures to temper sunlight and create privacy. The floor plan moves from generous hospitality zones to secluded personal quarters, with each threshold defined by material shifts rather than decorative gestures.
Materials
Materials & Finishes — Travertine, limestone plaster, smoked oak, brushed bronze, silk rugs, and pale leather create a warm neutral composition. Highlights include a sunken majlis lounge, sculptural stone staircase, spa-inspired primary suite, and gallery-like corridors designed for collectible design pieces.
